Cable protector

To apply to use a cable protector you will need:

• Evidence of your insurance cover - as the owner you are liable for accidents or injury that arise from using an electric vehicle (EV) charging cable, particularly where these may present a hazard on a public footway
• A picture of outside your property to show where the cable protector would run
• A link or picture of intended cable cover solution that is suitable for an external EV charging cable

You also have to give the following details of the cable protector you plan to use:

• Colour
• Construction (The type of material your cable protector is made of)
• Capacity (The number of cables your cable protector holds)
• Dimensions (mm)

Before enquiring about getting a cross-pavement-channel you will need:
